Joe Bryson
At just 26, Joe Bryson is turning heads with a sound that doesn’t fit neatly into a box. The Lafayette, Louisiana–born singer/songwriter blends soul, folk, rock, and Cajun music into what he calls “kitchen-sink country,” a raw, lived-in sound and lyric that is unmistakably his own.
Bryson picked up the craft at age 10, however his story took a defining turn when he faced – and beat – Stage 3 thyroid cancer. The experience didn’t slow him down but rather served to deepen his voice as a songwriter and sharpen his purpose as an artist.
In 2020, he moved to Nashville with something to prove. After signing his first publishing/artist development deal in 2025 with Spirit Music, 2026 has Bryson riding the momentum of his first album, The King’s Court, produced by Derek Wells and Justin Halpin, in addition to gritty songs like “Got That Right” and South Louisiana sounds like “Dirt in My Teeth,” just two of a few of this year’s highly anticipated songs for Bryson’s burgeoning career.
