Matt Benthall, known professionally as Hamish, is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer, and artist whose deep knowledge of music theory and genre-fluid approach have made him a go-to collaborator. Fresh off touring with Jean Dawson, Hamish continues to play a key creative role in Dawson’s upcoming project while simultaneously developing his own artist debut. His production is rooted in emotional intention and bold experimentation, shaped by a songwriter’s instinct and an artist’s sense of world-building. Recent collaborations include Jean Dawson, Miguel, Ravyn Lenae, Vince Staples, Knock2, Monte Booker, Smino, SLAYYYTER, VITA, Timbaland, Nami Ondas, Saint Mino, Austin Corona, and Wyatt Bernard among others.
