Cale Dodds
After making a splash in the Nashville songwriting community with the single “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” by A Thousand Horses, Cale Dodds penned a two-week No. 1 song, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” recorded by Chase Rice featuring Florida Georgia Line. Dodds also has cuts with a diverse range of artists, including Darius Rucker, Scotty McCreery, Chris Young, The Elovaters, Bryce Vine, Mickey Guyton, Jess Moskaluke, Cassadee Pope, Filmore, and many more.
Dodds, who has been writing songs since the age of 12, has also contributed music to Film & TV scoring sync placements with Chevy Silverado, Ram Trucks, ABC, CBS, ESPN, and more.
A former Warner Music Nashville recording artist, Dodds is currently focused on songwriting with his team at Spirit Music/Fluid Music Revolution. The Georgia native moved to Nashville in 2011 and immediately hit the road, touring with artists such as Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Billy Currington, and Chase Rice. His energetic live show is rooted in rock ’n’ roll with a country soul. Before signing his first major-label deal with Warner Music Nashville, Dodds independently racked up more than 30 million digital streams by touring the country, putting face time in front of audiences, and earning fans the old-fashioned way.
Rolling Stone named Cale Dodds one of its “New Country Artists You Need to Know.” CMT Listen Up selected him as one of its “18 for 2018” class members, a year-long campaign spotlighting country music’s most promising newcomers. Billboard named Dodds’ CMA Fest performance one of the best shows to see, and Pandora named him a “Top Artist to Watch.”
